About the role#
This 11-week internship offers an opportunity to support the National Accounts team at CVS Health. You will gain exposure to healthcare consulting, client relationship management, and sales support. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to August 4, 2027. You will participate in professional development workshops, community service activities, and networking sessions with senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Support account management activities and learn how healthcare organizations maintain client relationships.
- Analyze customer, market, and business performance data to identify trends.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for client and leadership meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customer initiatives and process improvements.
- Research industry trends, competitive insights, and healthcare market developments.
- Learn how organizations evaluate customer needs and support growth strategies.
- Attend internal meetings to observe client management and consulting practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and June 2028.
- Major in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Health Administration, Public Health, Finance, Economics, Communications, or Analytics.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, sports, or work projects.
- Interest in pursuing a full-time career at CVS Health after graduation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Hartford, Connecticut.
- You will work in the office three days per week, typically Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely the remaining two days.
- Compensation is $26 per hour for 40 hours per week.
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
