About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides an introduction to commercial real estate. You will gain experience across brokerage, investment, development, and property management. The program begins with an orientation at our Glen Allen office to cover company operations and industry disciplines. You will spend the remainder of the summer completing specific work assignments under the guidance of a business line leader. The program concludes with a return to the corporate office for final presentations and career feedback.
What you'll do#
- Gather market data and research specific properties and businesses.
- Market to current and prospective tenants and landlords.
- Synthesize information across various commercial real estate disciplines.
- Complete assigned projects within a specific Virginia market.
- Participate in capstone presentations, resume reviews, and exit interviews.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior majoring in Business Administration, Communications, or Real Estate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Evidence of interest in a career within the commercial real estate industry.
- A track record of dependability, self-sufficiency, and motivation in past work or extracurricular roles.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Glen Allen, Virginia.
- The program runs during the summer of 2027.
- Interns are responsible for their own lodging and accommodations.
