About the role#
As a Digital Forensics Intern at Crowe, you will join our Consulting Practice to assist in the implementation of defensible methods for data assessment. You will work with both traditional and diversified data sources to support preservation, review, analysis, and reporting. This role requires technical skill to address data file issues, navigate network problems, and diagnose technical challenges. You will contribute to multiple client engagements and internal projects while maintaining forensically sound methodologies.
What you'll do#
- Use advanced eDiscovery tools for data preservation, review, and analysis.
- Communicate project progress to both technical and non-technical users.
- Support forensic lab operations and contribute to related areas of the firm.
- Provide regular updates and status reports on engagement progress.
- Adhere to established processes and quality standards to ensure consistent work.
- Identify and escalate potential issues to engagement leads when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Knowledge of and adherence to forensically sound methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong academic performance and a commitment to professional growth.
- Willingness to travel.
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to complete assignments with limited supervision.
