About the role#
CRG Defense offers a hands-on co-op experience for students to work on government projects within a research and development laboratory. Associates work alongside professional staff to solve engineering challenges and participate in an entrepreneurial corporate culture. This position provides an opportunity to develop graduate-level skills and gain real-world experience while completing an undergraduate degree.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
- Contribute to projects in areas including aerospace systems, power and energy, advanced materials, and health technology.
- Solve engineering challenges on a regular basis.
- Receive mentorship from professional staff members.
- Participate in an innovative and team-oriented work environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a qualified engineering program, including Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Biomedical, or Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Exclusive US citizenship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Self-motivation combined with a team-oriented mentality.
- Willingness and ability to quickly develop an understanding of new technology areas.

- This position is located in Miamisburg, Ohio.
- This is an on-site role with no remote work options.
- The role is a full-time, paid position.
