Fall Biotechnology Internship 2026

About the role#

Cresilon is seeking interns for a 14-week program during the Fall 2026 term. This on-site internship provides exposure to various aspects of biotechnology research, manufacturing, and quality systems. Interns will be assigned to specific projects within one of eight categories, including Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Data Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or Manufacturing.

What you'll do#

• Assist with routine research and development tasks, including polymer formulation, physical and chemical characterization, and process scale-up.
• Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities, document control, and compliance efforts.
• Help verify conformance to in-process specifications and assist with quality control assays.
• Contribute to product realization efforts, design verification, and validation protocols.
• Participate in equipment installation, qualification, and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Document findings, present results, and collaborate with internal teams to improve departmental efficiency.

What you'll need#

• Academic background in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Prior laboratory experience is required for all technical roles.
• Graduate-level coursework is preferred for many positions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work within a regulated environment.

• Location: Brooklyn, New York.
• Term: September 8, 2026 – December 11, 2026.
• Compensation: $30.00 per hour.
• Work Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours/week).
• This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
