About the role#
We are looking for a Student Nurse Aide to join the team at Hogan Park Nursing & Rehab. This is a full-time position offering hands-on experience in long-term care. You will work under supervision to provide essential support to our residents.
What you'll do#
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Reposition residents and monitor their skin integrity.
- Help with range of motion exercises and reality orientation.
- Maintain resident rooms by changing linens and organizing supplies.
- Support nursing staff by passing water and ice, answering call lights, and making beds.
- Identify and report any conditions that require management attention.
What you'll need#
- Written proof of completion of 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school or instructor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, self-discipline, and a focus on serving others.
- Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and documentation protocols.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Commitment to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
