About the role#
The Discover Investing Program offers undergraduate women the opportunity to gain experience in fundamental analysis and public equity investing. You will join the Active Equities department from May to August 2027 to work on high-impact projects within the Security Selection team. The program includes orientation, skills-based training, and opportunities to engage with senior leadership. This internship is a potential pathway to the Early Investor Program for the following summer.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to research on industries, companies, and securities.
- Support valuation analysis to assess risks, returns, and key value drivers.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models.
- Contribute to due diligence and asset management efforts.
- Provide analytical support for investment reviews, market updates, and internal presentations.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to improve investment insights.
- Track macroeconomic and sector-level trends.
- Maintain internal research tools, databases, and proprietary resources.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program, with two years of study remaining before returning to school in Fall 2027.
- A strong record of academic success.
- A demonstrated interest in investing and a desire to learn financial modeling, valuation, and analytics.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
