About the role#
Countybank is hiring a Personal Banking Associate-Teller Intern to join our team in Greenwood. You will report to the Financial Center Manager and work directly with new and existing customers. This role focuses on providing financial solutions and handling daily banking transactions while following company policies and industry regulations.
What you'll do#
- Process routine teller and desk transactions with accuracy and speed.
- Help customers find the right financial solutions for their needs.
- Identify opportunities to make quality referrals to teammates and other business partners.
- Support bank initiatives to improve service and referral performance.
- Serve others with respect and keep customer information confidential.
- Follow all bank procedures, compliance requirements, and delegated authorities.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma is required. A bachelor degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer navigation.
- A willingness to learn, apply, and share new knowledge.
- Previous customer service or sales experience, especially with cash handling, is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Finance is relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Greenwood, South Carolina.
- This is a part-time role with a rolling term.
- You must be available to work some Saturday hours.
