    About the role#

    The Blavatnik Internship Program offers students exposure to the field of foreign policy and international affairs. Interns work alongside staff to gain professional experience and receive training in research, writing, and program planning. This is a paid position.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare briefing materials for staff.
    • Conduct research using approved databases.
    • Write, review, and edit content.
    • Assist with administrative tasks and work across departments.
    • Support meetings and events under staff supervision.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
    • Completion of at least four semesters of college coursework.
    • Interest in and knowledge of current foreign policy issues.
    • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while handling tasks.
    • Experience interacting with high-profile individuals.

    Location & details#

    • Locations: New York, NY and Washington, DC.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: Positions are on-site, though some may offer remote flexibility.
    • Hours: 14 to 18 hours per week.
    • Compensation: $18.50 per hour.
