About the role#
Corteva Agriscience is hiring a full-time Engineering Intern to join the FS&RE Engineering group in Indianapolis. This is an on-site, paid position that offers exposure to capital projects and facility operations. You will work alongside technical experts and researchers to support daily engineering tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support project managers with capital projects and facility maintenance.
- Assist with tagging serviceable assets and entering data into eMaint software.
- Work with building occupants to define the scope for small projects.
- Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance personnel to troubleshoot facility issues.
- Perform CAD design updates and assist with equipment validation across the campus.
- Follow all site safety requirements, including wearing protective equipment and navigating various work environments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to organize your own workload and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse teams, including maintenance staff, management, and researchers.
- Ability to apply engineering problem-solving techniques to practical tasks.
