About the role#
CORRE, INC. is hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Schofield, Wisconsin. You will work within the construction department to support various projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for construction projects.
- Complete engineering calculations and help with project documentation.
- Create designs and plan sheets using computer-aided drafting software.
- Assist engineers with daily tasks across multiple disciplines.
- Help with survey duties on construction sites.
- Work in various environments, including field offices, corporate offices, and active construction sites.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or civil technician program.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
- Experience using Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
- Capability to work on construction sites in all weather conditions, including standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
