About the role#
CORRE, INC. is hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid position based in Madison, Wisconsin. You will work on-site, supporting our construction department on various projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for construction projects.
- Complete engineering calculations and help with project documentation.
- Use computer aided drafting software to prepare designs and plan sheets.
- Assist with survey duties on construction or other project sites.
- Support engineers with daily tasks across multiple disciplines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
- Comfort working on construction sites in all-season weather conditions, including excessive standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift equipment or materials, as well as use a keyboard for extended periods.
