About the role#
Cornerstone Christian Counseling offers clinical practicum and internship opportunities for students pursuing a Master's degree in mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy. Our program focuses on clinical excellence within a Christian worldview. We handle business and administrative tasks to allow you to focus on client care. Internships are available for the Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Counsel individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children.
- Attend weekly Group Supervision meetings on Wednesdays.
- Participate in weekly Triadic Supervision meetings with a supervisor and another intern.
- Manage your own administrative tasks and clinical schedule.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability for all client sessions and meetings.
- Provide at least one weeknight or Saturday block of availability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master's level mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy program.
- Registration in a practicum or internship class with your school.
- Completion of a prior practicum before starting at the internship level.
- Agreement with Cornerstone’s Statement of Faith.
- A PC or Mac with an i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.
- Stable high-speed internet and a quiet, private, professional workspace.
- A high-resolution webcam and clear audio equipment.
- Digital literacy and a self-solving mindset for technical troubleshooting.

- Locations: Castle Rock, Centennial, Colorado Springs, Lakewood, Westminster, and Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
- Work Modality: On-site and hybrid options available.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid position.
