About the role#
Corient is hiring a Wealth Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Seattle, Washington. You will work 40 hours per week from June through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare client presentation materials, including financial independence projections, net worth statements, cash flow reports, and insurance or estate planning summaries.
- Review, summarize, and analyze client financial information regarding retirement planning, tax strategies, charitable endeavors, and education funding.
- Assist in the creation of customized financial planning templates for client meetings.
- Research specific financial planning topics as required by the team.
- Manage and organize client and firm documents within the document management system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, ideally as a rising junior or senior.
- Academic focus in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Basic understanding of investment concepts and financial planning.
- Familiarity with tax principles, estate planning, and insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain high attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Work Modality: This position is on-site 4 days per week.
- Compensation: $37.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: You must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
