Portfolio Management Intern, Manager Research

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term, running from June 2027 through August 2027. You will join the Manager Research team to support the evaluation and monitoring of investment strategies and third-party managers. This role is based on-site in Houston, Texas.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the evaluation and selection of investment managers across various asset classes.
• Monitor and assess the performance of third-party managers and unique investment strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify investment trends and industry developments.
• Analyze and report on model portfolios.
• Participate in the production of research materials to support investment decisions.
• Support client service initiatives and contribute to content creation.
• Collaborate with internal portfolio management and alternatives teams.

What you'll need#

• Must be a rising junior or senior by the summer of 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant financial software is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple internal and external departments.

• Work Modality: On-site (4 days per week).
• Employment Status: Full-time.
