About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work with the Manager Research team at Corient. You will support the evaluation of investment managers and gain exposure to the internal processes of a wealth management firm. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of investment managers across various asset classes.
- Monitor and assess the performance of third-party managers and unique investment strategies.
- Conduct research on current investment trends and industry developments.
- Analyze and prepare reports on model portfolios.
- Support the team in client service tasks and the creation of research content.
- Collaborate with internal portfolio management and alternatives teams.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior or senior status by summer 2027.
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Previous internship or classwork experience in finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant financial software is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site (4 days per week).
- Term: June 2027 to August 2027.
