About the role#
This is a 4-8 month internship starting in September 2026 within the Quantitative Equity team at Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management. Interns work directly with key decision-makers to identify novel predictors of business outcomes and model inefficiencies in financial markets. This role focuses on applying a disciplined, scientific approach to investment strategies.
What you'll do#
- Research and develop new investment models.
- Generate ideas for new investment insights.
- Apply skills in finance, data science, and statistics to evaluate data sets.
- Collaborate with technology, portfolio management, and investment process teams to deliver investment performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, physics, or a related discipline.
- Deep understanding of business success drivers and securities valuation.
- Experience with rigorous quantitative research in finance.
- Ability to communicate complex and technical concepts effectively.
- A collaborative mindset that values shared success.
