    About the role#

    This is a 4-8 month internship starting in September 2026 within the Quantitative Equity team at Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management. Interns work directly with key decision-makers to identify novel predictors of business outcomes and model inefficiencies in financial markets. This role focuses on applying a disciplined, scientific approach to investment strategies.

    What you'll do#

    • Research and develop new investment models.
    • Generate ideas for new investment insights.
    • Apply skills in finance, data science, and statistics to evaluate data sets.
    • Collaborate with technology, portfolio management, and investment process teams to deliver investment performance.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, physics, or a related discipline.
    • Deep understanding of business success drivers and securities valuation.
    • Experience with rigorous quantitative research in finance.
    • Ability to communicate complex and technical concepts effectively.
    • A collaborative mindset that values shared success.

    • Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (4-8 months).
    • Compensation: $11,000 per month.
