About the role#
CC&L is seeking a Quantitative Equity Research Intern to join the team for a 4-8 month term starting in September 2026. This role is based in Vancouver and focuses on applying a scientific, disciplined approach to financial markets by combining quantitative research with technology.
What you'll do#
- Research and develop new investment models.
- Generate ideas for new investment insights.
- Apply skills in finance, data science, and statistics to identify novel predictors of business outcomes.
- Collaborate with technology, portfolio management, and investment process teams to deliver investment performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, physics, or a related discipline.
- Deep understanding of business success drivers and securities valuation.
- Experience with rigorous quantitative research in finance.
- Ability to communicate complex and technical concepts effectively.
- A collaborative approach that values shared success.
