About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship at Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management. You will join our quantitative equity team to learn the investment management business through a comprehensive training program. Following training, you will join a specialized group based on your fit and interests. You will receive coaching and mentorship from senior team members throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Build, scale, manage, and monitor quantitative models and portfolios.
- Generate investment ideas and develop models that contribute to stock forecasts.
- Develop advanced optimization and portfolio monitoring systems.
- Integrate market structure expertise to create optimal trading strategies.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program.
What you'll need#
- Working towards an undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or computer engineering.
- An analytical mindset that balances intuition with statistical validation.
- Understanding of financial theory, economic models, and corporate financial statements.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
