About the role#
As a Facilities Management Intern with Crothall Healthcare, you will work closely with department leaders to build skills in the Plant Operations Maintenance industry. This role focuses on hands-on experience in operations, administration, safety, and project planning. You will gain exposure to the daily functions of a healthcare facility while developing your professional capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Execute operational standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Respond to requests and concerns with urgency, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Monitor facility security to ensure integrity is maintained at all times.
- Proactively identify and resolve facility quality assurance concerns.
- Bring creative and innovative ideas to the Crothall Healthcare program.
- Support staff training by ensuring proper orientation and ongoing development.
- Provide guidance and motivation to associates.
- Manage special projects and requests as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college, university, or technical program to receive credit or hands-on experience.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong writing, editing, and social skills.
- Ability to work well under tight time constraints.
- Detail-oriented mindset with project management experience.
- A self-directed, curious, and proactive approach to work.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a professional setting.
- A genuine interest in Plant Operations Maintenance or Engineering.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate clearly.

- Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
