About the role#
This position involves providing service to customers and managing grocery inventory at our downtown location. You will handle cashier duties, stock shelves, and assist with receiving deliveries. This is a paid, on-site role with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and prompt service to all customers.
- Process purchases accurately while following regulations for SNAP and alcohol sales.
- Manage cash drawers, verify safe protocols, and reconcile cash boxes.
- Stock and rotate grocery items to ensure freshness.
- Receive deliveries by verifying piece counts and checking for product quality.
- Review invoices for pricing and discount accuracy.
- Answer customer questions and explain membership benefits.
- Maintain storage areas according to the floor plan.
What you'll need#
- Ability to provide attentive service to customers.
- Commitment to working at least two days per week.
- Availability to work during MSU winter break.
Location & details#
- Location: Bozeman, Montana.
- Schedule: Shifts range from 6am to 8:45pm, Monday through Saturday (excluding Thursdays and Sundays).
- Employment type: Full-time and part-time positions are available.
