About the role#
The Committee for Public Counsel Services is looking for a creative intern to support our statewide recruitment and outreach efforts. You will work with the Private Attorney Outreach Partner, the Communication Director, and our Content Creator to build strategies that raise awareness of private attorney panel opportunities. This role is a chance to build a professional portfolio while supporting a mission-driven organization focused on access to justice.
What you'll do#
- Develop creative content for social media platforms to increase attorney recruitment and engagement.
- Produce video content for the website that uses storytelling to highlight the experiences of private panel attorneys, staff, and interns.
- Design recruitment materials including flyers, brochures, advertisements, and event materials.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns to promote private attorney opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, journalism, or digital media.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate information in a clear, visually compelling way.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A demonstrated commitment to zealous advocacy, community-oriented defense, and the protection of fundamental constitutional and human rights.
- Access to a personal computer with home internet access sufficient to work remotely.

- This is a remote internship.
- The term runs from Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
- This is an unpaid position.
- We can work with students to support the receipt of externship credit.
