About the role#
Comfort Keepers of North Georgia is hiring CNAs and caregivers to provide one-on-one support for seniors in their homes. This role offers flexible scheduling designed to accommodate students in nursing or other healthcare programs. You will gain hands-on patient care experience while working shifts that range from one to 12 hours.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Handle light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Assist with mobility and safety needs.
What you'll need#
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- A genuine desire to help others.
- Current driver license, reliable personal transportation, and valid automobile insurance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 miles for assignments.
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
- Good work-related references.
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and a TB skin test must be completed prior to orientation.
