About the role#
Comfort Keepers of North Georgia is hiring CNAs and caregivers to provide one-on-one support for seniors in their homes. This role offers flexible scheduling designed to accommodate nursing, public health, and biomedical science students. You can choose shifts ranging from one hour to 12 hours and adjust your hours during school breaks or exam periods.
What you'll do#
You will assist seniors with their daily routines to help them remain comfortable at home. Your daily tasks include:
- Helping with activities of daily living.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
- Assisting with mobility and home safety.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- A valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and current automobile insurance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 miles.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and TB skin test certifications (required before orientation).
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
- Good work-related references.
- U.S. citizenship or an approved work permit.
- A genuine desire to help others.
Location & details#
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Ellijay, Georgia. The role includes paid training, continuing education, and mileage reimbursement. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k) with match. The company also offers premium weekend pay and holiday double time.
