About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of machine learning models and NLP products. Interns are treated as full-time team members, receiving autonomy and ownership over high-impact projects. You will work across various domains including frontend, backend, full-stack, and infrastructure, with placements determined by your interests and experience. This is a full-time, 3-6 month commitment.
What you'll do#
- Ship user-facing products by writing code for browsers or server environments.
- Develop features for the API platform that impact users directly.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines, including crawlers, storage, and filters.
- Create scalable services and infrastructure to support machine learning development.
- Build internal tooling, such as CI/CD and developer utilities, to improve team efficiency.
- Maintain and contribute to internal and external technical documentation.
- Adopt new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Passion for building machine learning models and NLP products.
- Practical experience with coding or engineering practices.
- Strong interest in AI systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned projects.
