About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate and association event management. You will work within our team to support the full lifecycle of events, from initial proposal development to onsite execution. This is a full-time, paid position based in Boston.
What you'll do#
- Support the event management team with planning, coordination, and execution.
- Assist with vendor outreach, cost research, and invoice tracking.
- Manage client gift sourcing and procurement.
- Build and maintain detailed, multi-day event schedules.
- Coordinate attendee logistics, including airport arrivals and departures.
- Help develop marketing materials and planning documentation.
- Provide onsite support to address real-time operational needs.
- Support office operations by answering client and general calls.
- Complete additional administrative projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to CRM and other software tools like Salesforce or Dayforce.
- Ability to perform administrative work using writing tools and electronic media.
- Must be ambulatory to move freely between buildings and across levels.
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
