The NextGen Event Marketing & Communications Internship provides hands-on experience in event planning, marketing strategy, and business operations. This program is designed for college students and recent graduates looking to build practical skills and gain exposure to real-world campaigns and initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events.
- Support marketing campaigns across email, social media, and other promotional channels.
- Create and schedule content for digital platforms.
- Conduct research to support events, partnerships, and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, assignments, and brainstorming sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or recent graduate status in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Public Health.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
- Sharp, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing accurate work.
- Reliable and accountable, with the ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a virtual environment.
- Basic familiarity with digital tools, including Google Docs, email, and social media platforms.
- A strong interest in event planning, marketing, and professional networking.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote (based in Bronxville, New York).
- Schedule: Flexible hours, Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 5 PM EST.
- Commitment: At least 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Students may receive academic credit if approved by their college or university.
