About the role#
This is a 12-week Engineering Internship at one of our three integrated paper mills. You will work under the supervision of Department Managers to support our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems to meet business objectives.
- Identify areas for process improvement through strategic projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and team members.
- Learn the paper-making process from initial creation to final distribution.
- Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment that includes extreme temperatures, noise, and dust.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work around moving machinery.
