About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in industrial services, energy, and environmental operations. You will work on-site in Reserve, Louisiana, supporting real projects and gaining practical skills alongside experienced field professionals. This is a full-time position for the Summer 2027 program.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices and policies.
- Assist technicians with the setup, operation, and monitoring of industrial cleaning equipment.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential deficiencies.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and assist with component repairs.
- Participate in safety briefings and observe operational processes.
- Support project coordination and review operational data.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or technical program related to Industrial, Process, Mechanical, Agriculture, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Engineering Technology.
- A strong interest in field operations and industrial services.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Willingness to work in industrial settings, including outdoors, confined spaces, loud environments, and temperature extremes.
- Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to perform physical tasks like standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods.
