About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship is based at our corporate headquarters in Norwell, Massachusetts. You will support HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, while gaining hands-on exposure to sales, customer engagement, and market development within the environmental and industrial services sector. You will work alongside professionals to learn our operations, safety culture, and business processes.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Shadow sales team members to learn customer engagement strategies and sales processes.
- Participate in internal sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and customer discussions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging customer segments and analyze interactions to spot trends.
- Develop a strategic sales plan for a specific market opportunity.
- Execute outreach via email, phone, and in-person meetings while tracking your progress.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams.
- Prepare updates for stakeholders and deliver a final project presentation.
- Participate in professional development and networking activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Sales or Business at an accredited college or university.
- A strong interest in the environmental and industrial services industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other relevant technical tools.
- Ability to document, record, and analyze data effectively.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and work in a collaborative team environment.
