About the role#
We are looking for a Robotics Operations Intern to join our team in San Francisco. You will support the day-to-day operations of our robot fleet. This is a hands-on role where you will work with our Robotics Operations and Applications team to prepare equipment for customer deployments, manage inventory, and ensure our systems are ready for field use.
What you'll do#
- Prepare robots, accessories, tools, and equipment for customer deployments and shipments.
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and organize incoming and returned equipment.
- Perform basic robot setup, cleaning, charging, and readiness checks.
- Maintain an organized inventory of robots, spare parts, and shipping materials.
- Assist with robot testing, troubleshooting, and general operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Comfort working hands-on with physical equipment, tools, and robotic hardware.
- Ability to safely lift and move equipment for shipping and operational preparation.
- Availability to work part-time from our San Francisco office during the academic year.
