About the role#
Cox Engineering is looking for an Operations Intern to join the construction division for the Fall 2026 term. This on-site position provides hands-on experience and professional development for students interested in construction operations. You will work with the team to manage project workflows and support client relationships.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple projects and interact with clients during coordination meetings.
- Ensure project deliverables meet established timeframes, cost plans, and customer expectations.
- Monitor Safety, Health, and Environmental standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate project progress to the Operations Manager and the broader team.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project changes while maintaining core objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to draw using CAD and Revit.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
