About the role#
The Field Operations Intern supports Superintendents and Project Managers with daily field tasks. You will gain hands-on experience in field coordination, schedule management, and quality control. This is a full-time, on-site role for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration of the project safety program.
- Provide technical assistance by interpreting contract drawings and project documentation.
- Assist with daily reports, safety walks, and compiling quantity reports.
- Update project schedules and contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
- Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to keep work moving.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of construction scheduling and critical path method concepts.
