About the role#
Join the high-speed photonics components R&D team in Quebec City. You will work on devices that form a key part of Ciena’s high-performance optical systems. This role focuses on optimizing business operations and processes through Microsoft 365 technologies, including automation, collaboration, and productivity tools.
What you'll do#
- Develop, implement, and maintain solutions using Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Automate tasks for the project managers team to improve efficiency.
- Work with multiple data sources.
- Gain practical experience in a modern IT environment.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a technical degree in software engineering or computer science.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in designing technological solutions to fill business needs.
- Understanding of web programming standards including HTML, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 environment, specifically Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Graph API.
- Experience with C# and REST APIs.

- Location: Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full time.
- Pay Range: $25.50 to $35.00 per hour.
