About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to assist in the development and maintenance of backend services and infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams, including satellite operations and ground stations, to build applications that support our satellite network and mission control software. You will be trusted to work across our software stack from your first day.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and development of reliable software for satellite network infrastructure and mission control automation.
- Collaborate with product managers and satellite operators to deliver ground systems.
- Write thorough tests and documentation for your code.
- Participate in software design and code review processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Prior internship experience using Python for backend service development.
- Experience supporting software development and test writing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with plans to return to studies after the internship.
- Availability for a full-time internship starting in January 2027 for a duration of 4 to 16 months.
