About the role#
Join the Global Markets team in Montreal for a 4-month summer internship. You will work alongside sales, trading, structuring, and research professionals to deliver banking and investment solutions to a diverse range of clients. This role is a full-time, on-site position designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Present detailed analysis, financial modeling, and research to support senior team members.
- Identify opportunities to win business and execute transactions.
- Automate existing processes and develop new business initiatives.
- Apply technical skills to generate insights and optimize workflows.
- Explain complex financial concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related program, or an MBA or Master’s degree.
- A graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- A proven record of academic success, teamwork, and extracurricular involvement.
- Experience with coding languages such as Python, SQL, or VBA is considered an asset.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec.
- Term: 4 months (May 2027 to August 2027).

- Compensation: The annualized base salary for this role is $100,000, determined by factors including skills, experience, and business needs.
