About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in the insurance industry. You will work on business projects designed to strengthen your academic skills while receiving support from our team. This is a paid, full-time program. Successful participants may be considered for future full-time roles or subsequent internships.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of approximately 1,400 Federal, State and Local Tax Returns for U.S. companies.
- Help calculate and file quarterly State and Local estimates.
- Support the tax department by responding to State and Local notices.
- Provide assistance during tax audits.
- Conduct research on tax issues as needed.
- Perform general office tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Prior work experience or leadership roles in community service, athletics, or clubs are preferred.
- Previous tax or treasury experience is helpful but not required.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
