About the role#
CHS Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer Intern for the Summer of 2027 at our refinery in Laurel, Montana. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work alongside our environmental staff to support regulatory compliance programs and assist with various environmental tracking initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Gather process data and analyze it for regulatory agency report submittals.
- Help environmental staff implement tracking and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with operations and environmental teams on regulatory matters.
- Follow all safety training and company practices.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, such as respirators.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your Sophomore or Junior year in an accredited Environmental Engineering program.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.6 or better.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.
- Previous internship or work experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
