About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Holdrege, Nebraska. You will work with Agronomy Production Sales Specialists to support field operations and customer service. This position offers hands-on experience in production agriculture and agronomy plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving field agronomic problems.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to identify treatment thresholds.
- Write and present reports for your supervisor and customers.
- Help with inventory management and learn the features of agronomy products.
- Gain experience with precision agriculture, product mixing, and operating application equipment.
- Assist with warehouse operations and customer service tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an Associate or Bachelor degree in an agriculture-related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- A solid understanding of production agriculture.
- A Commercial Driver License.
- A Certified Applicator Certificate.
