About the role#
As an Agronomy Intern, you will assist farmers with crop production decisions. You will work alongside our team of Agronomists and Precision Ag Specialists to provide unbiased service and help reach customer goals.
What you'll do#
- Monitor fields for insects, weeds, and disease while using imagery tools.
- Create recommendations for seed, fertilizer, and ag chemicals.
- Manage crop rotation, budgets, fertility, and yield analysis.
- Handle water management through soil moisture monitoring and irrigation scheduling.
- Record field data using geo-referenced software.
- Analyze soil texture, pH, organic matter, and elevation data.
- Perform grid and zone sampling to provide variable rate recommendations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.
