About the role#
As an Agronomy Intern, you will work alongside our team of Agronomists and Precision Ag Specialists. You will assist farmers with crop production decisions to help them meet their operational goals. This role focuses on providing unbiased service and creating recommendations that support a return on investment.
What you'll do#
- Monitor fields for insects, weeds, and diseases while using imagery tools.
- Develop recommendations for seed, fertilizer, and ag chemicals.
- Assist with crop rotation, crop budgets, fertility management, and yield analysis.
- Manage water resources through soil moisture monitoring and irrigation scheduling.
- Use geo-referenced software to record field data.
- Analyze soil texture, pH, organic matter, and elevation data.
- Execute grid and zone sampling to create variable rate recommendations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.

- This is an on-site position based in Montezuma, Kansas.
- The role is full-time and paid.
