About the role#
As an Agronomy Intern, you will work with our team to help farmers make crop production decisions. You will provide recommendations for seed, fertilizer, and chemicals to support farm operations. This role involves working alongside agronomists and precision agriculture specialists to provide service to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Monitor fields for insects, weeds, and diseases while using imagery tools.
- Assist with crop planning, including crop rotation, budgeting, fertility management, and yield analysis.
- Manage water resources through soil moisture monitoring and irrigation scheduling.
- Use geo-referenced software to record field data.
- Analyze soil texture, pH, organic matter, and elevation data.
- Conduct grid and zone sampling to create variable rate recommendations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.

- This is an on-site position based in Colby, Kansas.
- The role is full-time and paid.
