About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Lexington, Kentucky. You will work on-site as you gain practical experience in the public accounting profession. This role is designed to help you build a foundation for your career while working alongside tax professionals.
What you'll do#
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals across all levels of the organization.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a public accounting firm.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or senior currently enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program.
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above (preferred, but not required).
- You are proficient with computers and spreadsheet software.
- You have the ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- You are eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
