About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in public accounting. You will apply accounting theories and principles while performing tasks similar to a first-year associate accountant. This role provides an opportunity to work with various clients, ranging from start-ups and family-run businesses to multi-national corporations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in intern orientation, technical training, and development programs.
- Complete on-the-job training through real work engagements.
- Learn directly from experienced associates, seniors, managers, and partners.
- Collaborate with peers and build professional relationships.
- Demonstrate your performance with the goal of joining the firm as a full-time associate accountant.
What you'll need#
- Working towards an undergraduate or master's degree in business or accounting.
- On track for CPA eligibility upon graduation.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with various client personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
