About the role#
This internship offers a look into the public accounting profession. You will work with various supervisors on client engagements and shadow tax professionals at all levels of the firm. The role includes participating in team building, training initiatives, and a marketing or research project that you will present to the team. You will also have the chance to attend social functions such as lunches and community service projects.
What you'll do#
- Support multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements.
- Use firm technology to apply your accounting knowledge to client work.
- Shadow tax professionals to learn about the daily operations of the firm.
- Participate in team building and professional training.
- Present the results of a marketing or research project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting, finance, or business administration program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
