About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on risk and accounting consulting engagements. This role involves helping clients manage risk, improve business processes, and navigate internal controls. You will gain exposure to fields like internal audit, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and risk analytics.
What you'll do#
- Support risk and accounting consulting engagements from planning through field work and report completion.
- Help maintain project quality control.
- Build relationships with client personnel to understand their business needs.
- Provide recommendations to clients regarding risks in operations, financial reporting, fraud, and compliance.
- Apply your academic coursework to real client situations.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting or CIS.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Interest in information systems, professional regulations, and internal accounting controls.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet project deadlines with attention to detail.
- Willingness to pursue professional designations like the CPA or CIA.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

- Compensation: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour.
