About the role#
The Planning & Supply Chain Intern supports our planning organization by using data and analytics to improve operational performance. You will work alongside our Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams. This role provides hands-on experience in demand, supply, and production planning. You will help develop analytical tools and support data-driven decisions to improve customer satisfaction. This position is designed to prepare you for a career in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support demand, supply, production, and inventory planning activities.
- Assist with monthly SIOP activities through data preparation, reporting, and analysis.
- Extract, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from SAP, manufacturing systems, Excel, and other business databases.
- Design and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or Tableau to monitor key operational metrics.
- Support root cause analysis for forecast variances, inventory shortages, production delays, and downtime.
- Prepare reports and executive summaries to present actionable insights.
- Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and daily production reviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
