About the role#
The OAAR Student Assistant role is an undergraduate position for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role involves providing administrative support to staff and serving as the primary point of contact at the front desk. The position is unpaid and requires on-site work in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and assist with appointment scheduling.
- Help administer OAAR testing services.
- Communicate effectively with faculty and students.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student status.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with faculty and students.
- Prior experience with appointment scheduling.
- Demonstrated self-discipline and reliability.
- A genuine interest in multiculturalism and inclusion.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.

- Work hour limits: Students may not work more than 20 hours per week combined across all campus jobs and may not exceed 980 hours per calendar year.
