About the role#
This year-round internship provides hands-on experience across the procurement lifecycle. You will work on strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, bid analysis, and spend analysis. You will develop project management and communication skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage the open order process by communicating with suppliers and performing follow-ups.
- Prepare, analyze, and support the execution of Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Conduct supplier document audits and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain master product portfolios to support benchmarking and sourcing.
- Assist with procurement data analysis, reporting, and special projects.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding daily procurement activities.
- Explore and apply AI tools and emerging technologies to improve processes and administrative workflows.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and succeed in a team environment.
- Preferred experience includes ERP systems, purchasing, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S tools.

- Term: Winter 2027 start, year-round duration.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Part-time during the academic year (15-20 hours/week) and full-time during the summer (40 hours/week).
- Compensation: This is a paid position. Sponsorship is not available.
