About the role#
We are looking for an Office Intern to join our team for a 90-day period. This is a hands-on position where your daily tasks will change based on the needs of the business. You will work across different departments to support our operations, office organization, and special projects. This role is based in our Stamford office.
What you'll do#
- Assist with general administrative and office operations.
- Support office projects such as moves, workspace setup, and internal errands.
- Pack, unpack, and organize office supplies, equipment, and furniture.
- Maintain office spaces to ensure they remain clean and welcoming.
- Learn to use our internal ticketing system to track and complete requests.
- Restock shared materials, including snacks and groceries.
- Handle mail and deliveries between our Middletown, Providence, and Stamford locations.
- Coordinate and set up for internal events and meetings.
- Manage company vehicle scheduling and transport vehicles for maintenance or inspections.
- Pick up catering or meal orders for the team.
- Provide support to team members on ad-hoc requests and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Availability to work 16 to 30 hours per week.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- A professional drive and a desire to learn.
