About the role#
We are looking for an Office Intern to join our team for a 90-day internship. This is a hands-on, full-time position based in Middletown, Connecticut. Your daily tasks will change based on business needs, ranging from administrative support to physical projects like office moves and equipment setup.
What you'll do#
- Support office operations by managing administrative tasks and ad-hoc requests.
- Assist with office moves, including packing, unpacking, and setting up furniture or equipment.
- Organize and maintain workspaces to keep the office clean and functional.
- Use our internal ticketing system to track and complete office-related requests.
- Manage interoffice mail and deliveries between our Middletown, Providence, and Stamford locations.
- Coordinate setup for internal company events and team meetings.
- Handle company vehicle scheduling and transport vehicles for maintenance or inspections.
- Restock office supplies, groceries, and snacks.
- Pick up catering or meal orders for the team.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general office equipment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, as well as perform physical tasks like standing, walking, bending, and reaching during office projects.
