About the role#
The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Intern supports the Information Security and IT teams by managing user identities, access rights, and authentication services. This role offers hands-on experience with identity governance, cybersecurity operations, and compliance within a healthcare environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with user account provisioning, modifications, and deprovisioning.
- Support access management activities, including security groups and role-based access controls.
- Participate in user access reviews and compliance-related audits.
- Help with MFA enrollment, password resets, and account troubleshooting.
- Document IAM processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Research and assist with IAM-related projects and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, or SSO is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in Florida.
- The role is full-time and paid at $16.00 per hour.
- This is a rolling internship program.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a background screening and drug testing.
